Dr. Aviona grew up in the Philippines and later moved to the United States to pursue her physical therapy career. She completed her physical therapy education in the Philippines and pursued a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Shenandoah University to support her lifelong learning as a physical therapist.
Since starting her career, she has worked in skilled nursing, pediatric care, outpatient, and rehabilitation-focused environments following a personal injury. Through these experiences, she has developed expertise in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and functional conditions. Her work focuses on helping patients regain mobility, decrease pain, and improve their overall quality of life through individualized, evidence-based care.
She has completed advanced training in dry needling and Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) and continues to pursue professional development in areas such as pain science, patient-centered care, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, and emerging healthcare technologies.
Her clinical experience includes working with diverse patient populations across outpatient, home health, and pediatric settings, with a focus on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and improving functional independence.
Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Aviona continues to expand her expertise in areas such as regenerative rehabilitation concepts, vestibular and concussion management, and the integration of technology and artificial intelligence into evolving healthcare practices. She is also developing experience in digital health content creation and physical therapy practice growth strategies.

She enjoys treating postoperative patients, concussion cases, vestibular conditions, and patients experiencing pain. She finds satisfaction in seeing her patients improve and regain their functional abilities.
Dr. Aviona also values collaborating with professionals in the same field, as it provides fresh perspectives on addressing challenging physical therapy diagnoses and introduces new ideas for techniques and treatment approaches for different patient needs.
