Patient Care Coordinator
I grew up in Davao City, Philippines, and studied at the University of Southeastern Philippines, where I completed up to 4th year as a Bachelor of Science major in Agricultural Business Management. During my time in college, I was very active in student leadership and organizations, serving as the University LGBT Organization President, a Debate Society member, a two-time Business Department legislator, and a school pageant director. These experiences helped me develop strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
I began my professional career in 2020 as a Customer Service Representative for Macy’s, building a strong foundation in customer support and communication. In 2023, I worked as a Customer Service Representative for Highmark BCBS for over a year, then transitioned into a Team Support role for six months, where I strengthened my operational and leadership abilities.
I am currently working as a Patient Coordinator at PT of Melissa, handling both front and back office responsibilities including patient communication, insurance verification, scheduling, lead management, and authorization coordination to help ensure smooth and efficient patient care.
Outside of work, I am a spontaneous and easygoing person who enjoys music, movies, and series, and spending quality time with friends and family. I also continue to serve as the LGBT President in my community, where I focus on promoting positivity, organizing events, and raising awareness for important causes.
