(Physical Therapist
Founder/CEO)

Nathaniel (Nat) is a licensed Physical Therapist dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and empowering his community. With a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin in 2002 and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2006, Nat established a solid foundation for his career.  Over a span of four years after graduating PT school, Nat established a strong professional footing at USPh, where he laid the groundwork for his career. During this time, he skillfully provided treatment to a diverse patient population, including professional athletes, student athletes, and geriatric individuals. Notably, Nat exhibited strong leadership qualities as the Clinical Director at one of USPh’s locations. Harnessing his leadership abilities and clinical expertise, Nat founded Physical Therapy of Melissa in 2010. This venture was driven by his vision to provide the North Texas community with comprehensive and personalized care, aiming to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Continuing his professional growth, Nat obtained a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016 and completed the Executive Program for Private Practice Management (EPPPM) with Evidence in Motion (EIM). This combination of clinical expertise and business acumen positions him as a well-rounded professional. Nat’s dedication to the profession is evident in his role as a Key Contact for the Private Practice Section of the APTA, advocating for private practice physical therapists’ interests at the legislative level.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact, Nat made the selfless decision to step back from patient care to secure employment for his clinical team. This transition allowed him to identify areas for improvement and opportunity in his practice’s future success. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Nat strives to optimize the patient experience and empower the community through strategic leadership.

During his leisure time, Nat embraces his passion for travel, cherishing moments with loved ones, and enjoying the beauty of nature. Exploring diverse cultures, creating lasting memories, and seeking solace in the outdoors bring him joy and fulfillment. These experiences contribute to his holistic approach to patient care and his ability to connect with others on a deeper level.
